This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Establishes standards for the scope of design, development, quality, and testing.
• Designs and articulates the architecture for enterprise-wide databases.
• Creates database architectures, schemas, analytical platforms, BI services, and oversees data governance.
• Gathers requirements and analyzes needs.
• Converts business, user, and technical requirements into architectural designs.
• Aligns business objectives, project advantages, priorities, components, and system features.
• Evaluates existing systems, applications, and services.
• Identifies potential solution options.
• Maintains and monitors architecture throughout the systems lifecycle.
• Estimates and sizes network infrastructure based on the requirements of systems and business applications.
• Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management processes.
• Prepares system documentation and delivers presentations.
• Leads development teams and oversees development processes.
• Selects and assesses technologies.
• Collects and analyzes system metrics.
• Optimizes systems from performance, security, and quality perspectives.
• Contributes to the Enterprise Architecture repository and manages essential artifacts.
• Master's Degree along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant IT professional experience.
• Proficient in English (CEFR): B2.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Required certifications: At least 2 among the following: Iasa Architect CITA-A or equivalent, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert or equivalent, Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals or equivalent, TIBCO Certified Associate or equivalent, Certified SOA Architect or equivalent.
• Experience as a key architect in the development of at least one enterprise-wide integration platform deployment.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an application architect, preferably within a public sector or EU agency environment.
• Expertise in system integration at both data and API levels.
• Proficient in designing enterprise-level integration platform connectors, flows, and service bus solutions.
• Skilled in planning the capacity and security of integration platform capabilities.
• Knowledgeable about integration patterns, standards, and models.
• Familiar with serverless and containerization platforms in both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Holds strong technical expertise in integration platforms such as Tibco or Mulesoft, SOA, databases, application servers, communication middleware, web applications, cloud integration patterns, business intelligence concepts, systems integration, and Software Development Lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of system and application design using UML.
• Familiar with the DevSecOps approach.
• Extensive experience aligning application development with business requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of systems modeling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect, or similar.
• Acquainted with industry-standard architectural frameworks or standards such as TOGAF, Zachman, Azure Well-Architected Framework, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid systems and application integration.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to document effectively.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Demonstrates leadership skills.
• Experience in modeling with ArchiMate.
• Experience delivering architecture services for large-scale IT systems managing operational resources deployed by a centralized function to diverse external entities.
