This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Utilizing your expertise in preparing Information Technology (IT) documentation, block diagrams, and logic flowcharts.
• Creating sample developmental test data and analyzing test outcomes to enhance product development and debugging processes.
• Updating and managing system requirements and configuration documentation.
• Assessing vendor capabilities, products, and/or IT services to facilitate the transition from STEPP to CSOD.
• Suggesting development strategies, action plans, and IT roadmaps to steer the transition from STEPP to CSOD.
• Collaborating with hardware design engineers on machine characteristics impacting software/database systems and working together to address compatibility issues.
• Assisting in the development of operational requirements documentation and requirements traceability matrices to ensure operational needs are accurately conveyed to technical specifications.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; the investigation will include a credit check, fingerprinting, and a law enforcement agency review.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience supporting a blend of Program Executive Office and/or Major Systems Acquisition Programs in a Systems Engineering role.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) field.
• Proficiency in engaging with senior management levels.
• Ability to propose enhancements to current and future team operations and processes.
• Skill in researching, collecting, and synthesizing data.
• Ability to present findings and recommendations to management effectively.
• Competency in preparing summaries, analyses, reports, charts, graphs, instructions, memoranda, and reference materials for benchmarking or inclusion in required and ad hoc reports.
• Effective planning and organization skills for work tasks.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Must be capable of working in a hybrid office environment at the client's discretion (working on-site as requested while maintaining the necessary equipment for remote work).
