Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Supervise and enhance daily administrative functions within dual Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments.

• Manage the complete identity and access management (IAM) lifecycle, overseeing accounts, group permissions, and authentication controls for both internal personnel and external partners.

• Administer licensing, vendor agreements, and tool distributions.

• Provision, secure, and provide support for Windows, macOS, Debian, Red Hat, and Arch laptop and desktop fleets.

• Oversee iOS and Android mobile endpoints, including automated enrollment, profile policies, remote management, and user support.

• Develop, audit, and sustain secure baseline configurations for both hardware and software.

• Design and regulate collaborative workspaces and file-sharing frameworks.

• Monitor system performance, address operational incidents, and collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve outages or service disruptions.

• Streamline administrative processes and utilize scripting or native automation to reduce manual tasks.

• Collaborate with Product, Software, and Strategy teams to test, assess, and implement new technologies or system upgrades.

• Create technical standards, standard operating procedures, and self-service guides for end users.

• Promote data security and workplace productivity best practices while supporting ethical and environmental responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing hybrid productivity suites (Google Workspace and Microsoft 365) in a corporate environment.

• Strong knowledge of directory services, single sign-on (SSO), and access control frameworks.

• Practical experience in managing and troubleshooting Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and various Linux environments.

• A mindset oriented toward process simplification, standardized configurations, and workflow automation.

• Capability to produce clear technical documentation and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
