This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Design and execute real-time automation controls and information solutions.

• Engage in conceptualization during the project's design phase.

• Program, troubleshoot, and test various systems.

• Generate project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documentation, case studies, and additional documentation.

• Commission new solutions at client locations while identifying opportunities for improvement.

• Develop methodologies to address and resolve complex issues.

• Acquire knowledge of new technologies.

• Provide mentorship to colleagues in areas of expertise.

• Collaborate with PLC/PAC programming, HMI application design, SCADA design, network design, database design, and vision system design.

• Partner with clients to tackle manufacturing and industrial information challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or anticipated completion of a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering Technology degree.

• Academic or practical experience with some or all of the specified technologies.

• Proficiency in PLC/PAC programming, HMI, SCADA, networking, databases, vision systems, or related automation technologies.

• Detail-oriented, diligent, analytical, focused, proactive, and a quick learner.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Valid Driver’s License required.

• Must have full-time access to a personal vehicle.

• Candidate should be based in eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland.

• Willingness to travel up to 30–50% across PA, NJ, NY, DE, and MD.

• Employee will be associated with and report to Grantek’s Allentown, PA office.
