Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design and implement real-time automation solutions from the manufacturing plant floor to the enterprise level.

• Engineer and deploy real-time automation controls and information systems.

• Generate ideas for solutions during the design phase of the project lifecycle.

• Program, troubleshoot, and validate systems.

• Develop project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documentation, case studies, and other related documents.

• Commission new solutions at client locations and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Create methodologies and tackle complex issues.

• Acquire knowledge of new technologies.

• Mentor colleagues in areas of expertise and knowledge.

• Collaborate with clients to address complex manufacturing and industrial information challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or imminent completion of a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering Technology degree.

• Academic or practical experience with some or all of the technologies listed.

• Proficiency in PLC/PAC programming, HMI, SCADA, system networking, vision systems, and related automation technologies.

• Detail-oriented, conscientious, analytical, focused, self-motivated individual who learns quickly.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Full-time access to a personal vehicle.

• Candidate must reside in eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland.

• Willingness to travel up to 30-50% in PA, NJ, NY, DE, and MD.

• Experience with DeviceNet, ControlNet, DH+, Remote IO, and Modbus is preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with Python, Historian (PI System), and databases is an advantage.
