Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and implement real-time automation control systems and information solutions.

• Develop concepts for solutions during the design phase of the project lifecycle.

• Program, troubleshoot, and validate systems.

• Produce project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documentation, case studies, and other necessary documents.

• Commission new solutions at client locations and identify areas for enhancement.

• Create methodologies and address complex challenges.

• Acquire new technological skills.

• Guide colleagues through established expertise and knowledge sharing.

• Develop real-time automation solutions that span from the manufacturing floor to enterprise level.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or imminent completion of a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering Technology degree.

• A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience with some or all of the listed technologies.

• Proficient in PLC/PAC programming, HMI, SCADA, networking, vision systems, and related automation technologies.

• Detail-oriented, conscientious, analytical, focused, self-motivated individual who learns quickly.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Full-time access to a personal vehicle.

• Willingness to travel 30-50% within the USA.

• Experience with DeviceNet, ControlNet, DH+, Remote IO, and Modbus is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with Python, Historian (PI System), and databases is advantageous.

• Preferably experienced in the food and beverage and life sciences sectors.
