Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and implement real-time automation controls and information solutions.

• Develop solutions during the design phase of projects.

• Program, troubleshoot, and test various systems.

• Generate project engineering notes, proposals, design traceability documentation, case studies, and other essential documentation.

• Commission new solutions at client locations.

• Recognize opportunities for enhancement.

• Formulate methodologies and address complex challenges.

• Acquire knowledge of new technologies.

• Mentor peers by sharing relevant expertise and insights.

• Create real-time automation solutions that span from the manufacturing floor to the enterprise level.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successful or impending completion of a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering Technology degree.

• A minimum of 5–7 years of professional experience with some or all of the listed technologies.

• Experience in the food and beverage and life sciences sectors is preferred.

• Proficiency in PLC and PAC programming, HMI application design, SCADA design, network design, database design, and vision system design.

• Detail-oriented, conscientious, analytical, focused, self-motivated individual who learns quickly.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Valid Driver’s License required.

• Must have full-time access to a personal vehicle.

• Willingness to travel up to 30–50% within the USA.

• Experience with DeviceNet, ControlNet, DH+, Remote IO, and Modbus is preferred but not mandatory.

• Familiarity with Python, Historian (PI System), and databases is an advantage.
