Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Technology management, senior Engineers, and support teams to implement and oversee technical solutions.

• Assess, implement, and design infrastructure.

• Develop support and architectural documentation, standards, policies, analyses, and testing procedures.

• Engage independently with business partners to clarify issues and opportunities while gathering business requirements.

• Coordinate vendor interactions and manage vendor resources as necessary.

• Mentor and guide less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators.

• Review documentation, proposals, and changes suggested by less experienced staff.

• Continuously enhance knowledge of trends, practices, and technologies within Financial Services.

• Advocate for industry best practices, standards, and procedures.

• Keep informed about Bank applications, systems, development environments, vendor technologies, and services.

• Comply with company risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls.

• Identify risk-related issues and escalate them to management as needed.

• Promote diversity and embody the Bank's brand.

• Uphold internal control standards and implement findings from audits and regulations.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A combined minimum of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture.

• At least 6 years of professional experience in a technical engineering role that involves infrastructure design technologies, data management and interchange, system design, and/or development for complex applications.

• Capability to convert complex business and functional requirements into structured, high-quality implementations utilizing industry-standard practices.

• Advanced knowledge and expertise in industry and/or vendor technologies.

• Proficient in soliciting, gathering, documenting, and analyzing system specifications and requirements.

• Capacity to employ effective facilitation skills and techniques to elicit and review requirements from diverse stakeholders and groups of various sizes.

• Understanding of how supported technologies interact with other systems and services.
