Systems Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the design, configuration, and upkeep of both Windows and Linux platforms.

• Develop solutions and automate service delivery processes.

• Conduct maintenance on hardware, software, operating systems, and applications.

• Ensure platform security.

• Build globally accessible, high-availability products and services.

• Assist with SOC 2 and ISO 27002 compliance efforts.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to support telecom-specific applications and integrations.

• Monitor system performance, address issues, and provide prompt resolutions to reduce downtime.

• Ensure adherence to telecom industry standards, data protection laws, and company policies.

• Create and keep updated documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

• Oversee user accounts, access permissions, and system resources throughout enterprise systems.

• Support and maintain virtualization platforms such as KVM, VMware, and Hyper-V.

• Offer technical assistance to end users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Windows Server management.

• Extensive experience with Linux administration is a REQUIREMENT.

• Comprehensive knowledge and substantial hands-on experience with the aforementioned technologies, software, operating systems, and services.

• Must comprehend how high availability network services are provided across OSI layers in a secure and scalable manner.

• An ideal candidate would possess mastery in foundational skills such as shell scripting, Active Directory integration, RAID filesystem management, hardware selection, operating system installation, data recovery, and system troubleshooting.
