This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Administers, supports, and maintains enterprise applications to guarantee their availability, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborates with project managers, server teams, and enterprise monitoring teams to implement and deploy enterprise applications that facilitate business operations.
• Troubleshoots technical issues across enterprise application environments and coordinates solutions with internal teams and vendors.
• Supports application environments on Windows, Linux, web, and mobile platforms.
• Assists with system integration, upgrades, patching, backup processes, and operational support for enterprise applications and their infrastructure.
• Utilizes scripting and database expertise to aid in automation, reporting, troubleshooting, and system maintenance activities.
• Engages effectively with customers, colleagues, vendors, and supervisors to communicate issues, clarify system functionality, and support business needs.
• Manages multiple priorities and projects while adjusting to evolving business requirements, product demands, and timelines.
• Participates in the team on-call rotation and offers operational support as required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a systems administration or enterprise application support position.
• Proficiency in Red Hat Linux, Windows Server platforms, Active Directory, security software, and backup software and procedures.
• Experience in supporting Windows, mobile, and web clients across PCs, smartphones, and tablets.
• Familiarity with software programming concepts and the ability to interpret pseudo-code.
• Proficient in both Windows and Linux server operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Unix shell scripting, and Windows PowerShell scripting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
• Excellent customer service, written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and handle various tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, organizational needs, product demands, and procurement timelines through strong analytical skills.
