System Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Drive the technical vision for deployments of Silent Sentinel.

• Architect comprehensive solutions that integrate complex surveillance systems with customer networks.

• Design, assess, and implement mission-critical video surveillance and network systems.

• Develop, document, and articulate architectures for video surveillance systems.

• Ensure alignment with network capacity, the scope of work, and customer specifications.

• Provide guidance to internal and external stakeholders regarding technological capabilities and value propositions.

• Perform product testing and lead technical demonstrations.

• Implement system modifications adhering to strict change control procedures.

• Collaborate with project management, subcontractors, and Motorola Technical Support on post-sales execution and project milestones.

• Identify project risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Travel for site assessments, surveying, design, integration, and troubleshooting.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or 3+ years of experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Networking, IT, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems.

• Over 3 years of experience in a Field Service environment.

• Experience in designing, evaluating, and implementing intricate system architectures and video surveillance networks.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Willingness to travel to customer locations, subcontractor offices, and project sites.

• Ability to travel between 50% to 75% of the time.

• Adherence to Motorola's policies, standards, and code of conduct.

• Passing necessary background checks for access to customer sites, including a stringent fingerprint background check under the CJIS Security Policy.

• Ability to obtain background clearance as required by government clients.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; employer work permit sponsorship is not available.
