QA Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Tailor a commercially available Loan Origination System to meet specific needs.

• Develop workflow-driven test cases to validate software functionality and user experience.

• Execute test cases while prioritizing user experience and adherence to workflow specifications.

• Document software defects, assist in identifying root causes, and verify solutions.

• Oversee, track, and report test outcomes to assess the impact of code modifications.

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the product is prepared for mortgage origination staff.

• Provide post-release support by diagnosing reported issues, logging confirmed bugs, and verifying fixes.

• Establish metrics to guarantee software quality.

• Identify testing requirements and communicate them effectively to the team.

• Work in partnership with Product Management, Software Development, and IT Operations.

• Conduct user acceptance, functionality, performance, regression, and various other testing phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience as a software tester in a professional setting.

• 1–3 years of experience in the mortgage lending sector.

• Familiarity with and knowledge of the mortgage industry.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Quick learner with a proactive approach.

• Basic skills in using Windows and web applications.

• Knowledge of macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.

• Capability to troubleshoot unforeseen issues.

• Skill in creating workflow-driven test cases.

• Proficiency in executing test cases related to workflow requirements and user experience.

• Competence in reporting software defects, aiding in root cause analysis, and confirming fixes.

• Ability to monitor, track, and communicate test results.

• Strong collaboration skills with development teams.

• Skill in identifying testing needs and effectively communicating with the team.
