This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +7 more states.
• Lead and manage projects from initial concept through design development and site layout.
• Utilize Revit to create designs for clients, certification agencies, local authorities, and internal operational departments.
• Generate 2D and 3D project site drawings and renderings through BIM, AutoCAD, and cloud-based technologies.
• Review drawings to ascertain material schedules, equipment schedules, and material takeoffs.
• Work from technical specifications, client and internal drawings, hand sketches, scanned images, Google Earth, government drawings, and general specifications.
• Consult with clients to establish project requirements.
• Assist the Sales team by creating professional drawing packets for bids and proposals.
• Aid the Engineering team by assembling submittal packets for certifications and permitting.
• Address complex design challenges with innovative and practical solutions.
• Conduct self-checks of work for completeness, accuracy, adherence to standards, and manufacturability.
• Act as a primary resource on Revit setup and standards for templates, families, shared parameters, and annotation standards.
• Assess and implement workflow enhancements that support documentation standards.
• Collaborate with design leads on content and library management.
• Adhere to OSHA, EPA, local regulatory laws, and company safety policies.
• Familiarity with electrical, plumbing, and mechanical design principles.
• Proficiency in Autodesk products, including Revit, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D.
• 3–5 years of pertinent design/drafting experience.
• Knowledge of Revit standards, templates, or firm-wide content management.
• Ability to interpret specifications effectively.
• Capability to suggest design enhancements.
• Commitment to comply with company safety policies.
• Physical ability to stoop, bend, reach, and walk.
• Capacity to perform repetitive hand motions for grasping, pushing, pulling, or fine manipulation.
• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to intermittently lift light to medium weights up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to intermittently bend and twist.
• An associate degree from an accredited CAD training program is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in car wash or related industries is explicitly not required.
