This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Collaborate under direct supervision on standard interior design assignments
• Act as a vital support member for project teams
• Contribute to the formulation of the interior design concept
• Assist in creating interior design construction documents
• Support construction administration tasks
• Aid in the preparation for meetings
• Engage in at least one Aspect of Practice
• Manage your time effectively in relation to project contracts, schedules, and fees
• Complete tasks with high accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Embody the firm’s core values
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
• A degree in Interior Design or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a professional office setting
• Honest, direct, and constructive communication skills
• Familiarity with finished materials, furniture, and lighting
• Basic understanding of programming and functional analysis
• Fundamental knowledge of space planning principles
• Basic comprehension of zoning, building, and life safety codes
• Basic knowledge of furniture, finish, and fixture specifications
• Effectively manage time concerning project contracts, schedules, and fees
• Proficiency in computer software such as Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp
• Capability to hand sketch
• Understanding of the phases of the design process
• Work effectively within a collaborative team environment
• Consistently adhere to deadlines, completing tasks as previously outlined
• Acquire experience in preparation for NCIDQs/licensing
