Senior Technical Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create comprehensive technical drawings and specifications tailored to project needs and design ideas

• Employ CAD software to generate construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, and sections

• Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure technical designs meet project objectives

• Coordinate with both internal and external teams to address design conflicts and facilitate project execution

• Ensure that technical designs adhere to building codes, zoning laws, and industry standards

• Conduct quality assurance assessments of technical drawings

• Prepare and maintain construction documentation, encompassing drawings, specifications, and material schedules

• Assist in the development of bid packages and construction contracts

• Provide technical assistance throughout the construction phase, addressing RFIs and resolving on-site challenges

• Support site visits and surveys to collect information for design development and coordination

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess advanced Revit skills

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent military or practical experience

• 2–3 years of experience in technical design within the construction services sector

• Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit

• Familiarity with building codes, zoning laws, and industry standards

• Strong knowledge of construction principles, materials, and techniques

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment with diverse stakeholders

• Must successfully pass a background check following offer acceptance
