This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze business and system requirements to facilitate application development and testing.
• Design, implement, and sustain automated testing frameworks, including TDD/BDD, Keyword, POM, Hybrid, and Selenium frameworks.
• Develop, document, and execute both manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Create and execute automated test scripts utilizing Selenium, JMeter, and POSTMAN for API testing purposes.
• Conduct functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Develop reusable testing tools and mock testing frameworks for API and automated testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects until resolution.
• Generate comprehensive defect analyses along with proposed solutions.
• Perform data validation and functional application testing.
• Coordinate testing scope with project managers, system analysts, and scrum masters.
• Apply test measurements and metrics to isolate, replicate, and report defects effectively.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and ensure solutions align with business requirements.
• Document business requirements, specifications, use cases, and user stories clearly.
• Coordinate testing activities and data collection with both internal and external customers.
• Generate, present, and distribute test results reports accompanied by recommendations.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Assist with backlog grooming to ensure user stories satisfy acceptance criteria.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and results to project leadership and stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across development and testing processes.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in systems management lifecycle or Agile methodologies.
• At least 3 years of practical software testing experience, particularly in web application testing.
• Strong grasp of software testing principles and methodologies, including unit, functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases for web-based applications.
• Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Selenium or JMeter.
• Familiarity with RESTful service architecture and API testing tools like POSTMAN.
• Experience with Modern React, NodeJS, Jest, Mocha, Chai, TypeScript, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps / Test Plans, including epics, features, user stories, tasks, and bug tracking.
• Understanding of web-based enterprise software, .NET Framework, C#, JavaScript, and databases.
• Strong comprehension of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience in writing and documenting business requirements, BRS, use cases, and user stories.
• Excellent technical writing skills.
• Working knowledge of database systems and SQL.
• Ability to obtain a DOI Public Trust Moderate Clearance.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, Green Card holder, or possess an Employment Authorization Document with a minimum of 3 years of consistent U.S. residency.
• Preferred: Experience with Azure DevOps or similar requirements and tracking tools.
• Preferred: Experience with T-SQL and Azure databases, including Cosmos, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Preferred: Experience with production testing in live environments.
• Preferred: Familiarity with Selenium, PowerShell, .NET Core, and HTML.
• Preferred: Familiarity with IEEE, ITIL, or CMMI standards.
• Preferred: Experience with Git, TFVC, Codebeamer, or Subversion.
• Preferred: Understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Preferred: Experience integrating COTS and custom software within enterprise solutions.
• Preferred: Experience with data warehouse projects.
• Preferred: Experience with Azure Cognitive Search, Elastic Search, or Solr.
• Preferred: Experience with AI/machine learning document enrichment projects.
