Senior QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Overseeing all facets of the testing process within an agile feature team.

• Implementing best practices for test case development, automation, documentation, and management.

• Automating test cases using Kotlin, primarily leveraging the Serenity BDD framework.

• Contributing to architectural choices related to the test automation framework.

• Engaging in code reviews and technical discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, emphasizing test automation.

• Familiarity with ISTQB is an advantage.

• Expertise in test automation utilizing object-oriented methodologies.

• Experience with Kotlin or Java, along with a readiness to learn Kotlin.

• Hands-on experience in frontend and backend testing (web and REST).

• Previous work with Serenity BDD or other Selenium frameworks is a bonus.

• Knowledge of REST Assured is desirable.

• Capability to conduct manual testing independently, including test management.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipeline fundamentals and Infrastructure as Code.

• Proficient in English as the primary working language.

• Proficiency in German at least at B2 level for effective communication with stakeholders.
