System Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Prepare artifacts for development, including use cases, functional and non-functional requirements, and process diagrams.

• Ensure the maintenance of high-quality project and software design documentation and analysis.

• Integrate research, team insights, and feedback into defined solution requirements.

• Participate in grooming sessions and facilitate discussions to discover technical solutions.

• Identify various potential business scenarios and document them accordingly.

• Analyze the root causes of business challenges and develop suitable resolutions.

• Utilize feedback to enhance work quality and build on previous experiences.

• Contribute to the formulation of a product roadmap.

• Create and define tasks based on requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, guaranteeing clarity and alignment on project goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business/System Analyst is required.

• Essential backend experience is necessary.

• Familiarity with integration analytics, client-server interaction fundamentals, principles of web service operation, and an understanding of API, REST, and OpenAPI terminology.

• A solid understanding of databases and the ability to independently create SQL queries is required.

• Experience in developing detailed system specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts.

• Proficient in producing comprehensive technical documentation.

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher is required; knowledge of Russian is a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong abilities in collaboration and teamwork.

• A good understanding of agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.

• Skilled facilitator — capable of driving requirement sessions, asking pertinent questions, and aligning stakeholders.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at structuring loosely defined problems.
