System Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, maintain, and resolve issues related to software and operating systems.

• Manage enterprise applications and/or middleware environments effectively.

• Assist in the deployment, testing, and troubleshooting of applications.

• Collaborate with application servers such as JBoss, WildFly, WebLogic, or similar technologies.

• Provide support for systems within extensive enterprise or government IT settings.

• Implement system and application security best practices diligently.

• Diagnose system and application challenges both independently and in collaboration with technical teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in system administration, infrastructure support, or a related IT domain.

• Practical experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting software and operating systems.

• Proven experience in administering enterprise applications and/or middleware environments.

• Competency in supporting application deployment, testing, and troubleshooting efforts.

• Familiarity with application servers such as JBoss, WildFly, WebLogic, or equivalent technologies.

• Experience with at least one major operating system, such as Linux/Unix or Windows Server.

• Knowledge of system and application security best practices.

• Experience in a large-scale enterprise or governmental IT environment.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as part of a technical team.

• A Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in a technical field is required.

• An active Secret Clearance is mandatory.
