This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the deployment of Sardina Systems software and associated applications.

• Create and implement components within automation tools.

• Modify and enhance existing code as needed to introduce new features.

• Provide suggestions to improve applications for better usability.

• Assist in managing deployed cloud environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid understanding of the principles of Linux operating systems.

• Experience in both system and network administration.

• Proficient in managing physical servers, including HP, Supermicro, and IBM.

• Familiarity with physical network hardware from HP, Cisco, and Juniper.

• Knowledge of software/hardware storage systems and/or FibreChannel SAN.

• Good understanding of Linux virtualization technologies.

• Experience in log management and monitoring practices.

• Proficient with automation tools such as Ansible or Chef.

• Knowledge of Git, Python, and Shell scripting for operational tasks.

• Basic conversational English skills are adequate.

• Experience with an ISP, hosting services provider, or network operator is advantageous.

• Familiarity with hypervisors like KVM, Xen, HyperV, or VMware is a plus.

• Experience with cloud management platforms such as OpenStack, GCP, or AWS is a plus.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage.

• Experience in data center operations would be beneficial.

• Knowledge of software-defined networking would be a plus.
