This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take ownership of global revenue and order intake objectives, including activity KPIs such as converted leads and active customer interactions.
• Lead and cultivate a team of sales managers across the EUR, ME, and US markets.
• Develop and implement territory and account strategies, incorporating outreach plans with well-defined messaging, target personas, and 90-day milestones.
• Propel new business development with a proactive, hunter mentality—this is not a role focused on incumbents, and consistent generation of a net-new pipeline is expected.
• Oversee and manage the sales pipeline through a structured weekly review process, ensuring clear stage definitions and accountability at the team level.
• Serve as a protective barrier for the sales team: absorb organizational distractions, shield sellers from interruptions, and maintain focus on commercial outcomes.
• Collaborate effectively with the CEO and leadership team, executing directives seamlessly while accurately representing the commercial organization.
• Coordinate with operations on order transitions and ensure a smooth handover for customers post-closure.
• 8–15 years of experience in complex B2B sales, preferably in industrial, deep tech, capital equipment, or energy sectors with lengthy sales cycles, technical buyers, and high-value transactions.
• Demonstrated success in leading a sales team, with direct management experience being essential, rather than just mentoring.
• Background in a founder- or owner-led organization.
• Strong instinct for new business development: you have actively pursued markets where you were not the incumbent and view outreach as a natural activity.
• Data-driven approach: you monitor activity metrics as instinctively as pipeline value, and when faced with challenges, your first instinct is to analyze the numbers.
• Proficient in contract negotiations.
• Proficiency in English is necessary; knowledge of additional languages is beneficial considering the EUR/ME/US scope.
• Prepared to travel frequently to engage with customers and represent Skeleton at trade shows and industry events.
