This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with the Chief Commercial Officer and senior leadership to establish Leap's strategy for commercial health plans.
• Impact product roadmap decisions to ensure alignment with health plan market needs.
• Differentiate health plan partnership models and create revenue projection frameworks.
• Identify Ideal Customer Profile targets and customize sales narratives for stakeholders.
• Develop and finalize significant health plan partnership agreements.
• Oversee the daily growth of the national health plan partner network.
• Work alongside Employer Sales and Client Success teams to explore potential health plan partnerships.
• Navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders within large organizations.
• Remove obstacles for health plans to facilitate new employer agreements.
• Create scalable processes for onboarding large employer clients.
• Advocate for health plan partner requirements with internal product and go-to-market teams.
• Formulate expansion strategies and pursue new product initiatives.
• Supervise sales personnel responsible for health plan growth.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Employer Sales, Data & Analytics, and Pharmacy Operations teams.
• Ensure pipeline visibility and report to the Chief Commercial Officer on pipeline status, partner health, growth metrics, distribution, and associated risks.
• Over 10 years of experience in health plan sales, partnerships, or strategic roles.
• Demonstrated history of driving and expanding revenue.
• Proven track record in selling to health plans.
• In-depth knowledge of payer business models and their decision-making frameworks.
• Capability to assess product and pricing trade-offs, value for health plans, and client cost savings.
• Experience in structuring and negotiating intricate partnerships, including embedded and reseller agreements, contracting, expansion, and performance management.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
• Proficiency in creating compelling materials aimed at manufacturers.
• At least 2 years of experience in people management.
• Proven success in building and leading high-performing teams.
• Strategic mindset with a strong focus on execution and outcomes.
• Previous experience in health plan-specific commercial roles at point solutions or startups is preferred.
• Established relationships within major health plans are preferred.
