This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Act as the CFO's chief deputy regarding planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial interactions with investors and lenders.
• Oversee the development of the annual operating budget, long-term strategic financial plans, and rolling forecasts.
• Interpret financial performance, market trends, and operational insights into narratives for the Board and materials for investors.
• Conduct scenario modeling, sensitivity analyses, capital allocation strategies, and cash flow management.
• Construct financial forecasting models, strategic communications, and processes suitable for a public company.
• Direct financial and operational analytics for upcoming capital raises from lenders and investors.
• Create business cases and ROI models for investments in operations, technology, AI, and corporate infrastructure.
• Manage comprehensive performance reporting, which includes KPIs, dashboards, variance analysis, scenario analyses, risks and opportunities, and capital planning.
• Facilitate monthly and quarterly operational reviews with executive leadership and private equity sponsors.
• Supervise financial reporting for equity sponsors and lenders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with covenants.
• Lead a data science team that provides operational insights and models for enterprise value creation.
• Oversee company-wide cost management and optimization efforts, including corporate investments, vendor procurement, and operational cost insights.
• Collaborate with Accounting during the monthly close process to confirm financials and provide decision-ready management reports.
• Utilize AI and automation to derive actionable insights at both executive and clinic levels.
• Build, guide, and nurture the FP&A team in preparation for a potential exit process.
• Advocate for AI adoption within FP&A and mentor the team on AI tools.
• Manage the FP&A technology roadmap and implement AI and BI tools.
• Modernize the financial data ecosystem, enhance automation, and minimize manual reporting.
• Develop scalable financial processes and controls to facilitate multi-state clinic expansion and acquisitions.
• Offer financial leadership to the Revenue Cycle, focusing on revenue recognition, collections performance, and revenue analytics.
• Formulate investment business cases and value-creation tracking throughout the enterprise, with an emphasis on AI investment ROI models.
• Ensure financial and procurement rigor to enhance enterprise cost efficiency.
• Oversee enterprise risk management.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and the Chief of Staff on organizational priorities.
• Over 15 years of progressive experience in finance.
• At least 5 years in a senior FP&A or finance leadership position.
• Proven experience in multi-site, multi-state healthcare services or similarly complex, high-growth operational environments.
• Experience working with or alongside private equity-backed companies.
• Proficiency in sponsor-grade reporting and developing board-level presentations.
• Strong skills in financial modeling, business case creation, scenario analysis, and long-term planning.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare financial drivers, including revenue, operating costs, corporate costs, capital, and initiative-level ROI value creation.
• Capability to lead, develop, and expand finance teams.
• Background in M&A, De Novos, and organic growth initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Advanced Excel skills and expertise in financial modeling.
• Familiarity with enterprise BI or planning platforms, such as Workday Adaptive and Power BI.
• Experience with AI LLM platforms like Claude, Co-pilot, and Cowork.
• Knowledge of lender reporting requirements, covenant compliance, and debt capital structures typical in PE-backed environments.
• Experience with PE exit processes and/or FP&A in public companies.
