
Sustainable Water Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Oversee, develop, and execute conservation initiatives throughout Oregon.
• Partner with colleagues to spearhead and finalize projects focused on water scarcity, drought resilience, and water resource management.
• Collaborate closely with various conservation teams and functions, including TNC Oregon’s Science, Philanthropy, and Government Relations departments.
• Establish and nurture partnerships with organizations, Tribes, agencies, and local communities.
• Create monitoring strategies, conduct fieldwork for data collection, and complete initiatives aimed at safeguarding and restoring freshwater ecosystems and biodiversity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as law or business, along with 5 years of experience in natural resource management, conservation, environmental science, hydrology, water management, or a related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven ability to independently lead projects in a dynamic, unstructured setting.
• Proficiency in conveying technical information to diverse audiences, both in written and verbal forms.
• Experience working collaboratively with Tribes, non-profit organizations, government bodies, and community groups.
• Background in executing field projects, ideally related to habitat restoration, conservation, water management, or hydrology.
