Director, Program Management – Configuration Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with government stakeholders to devise, plan, manage, document, and execute configuration change and release management operational and functional requirements, pinpointing gaps and exploring alternative solutions to fulfill those requirements.

• Facilitate status update meetings and convey timelines and impacts of new initiatives to team members.

• Coordinate closely with federal IT teams and other vendors to relay consolidated feedback on project advancements to federal leadership.

• Oversee the time management and expectations across various projects and team members.

• Identify and communicate the downstream effects of process improvements or significant projects to other teams or departments that may be affected.

• Thrive in a collaborative environment to fulfill requirements effectively.

• Partner closely with the Support/Organizational Readiness team to ensure that communication and training materials are updated in preparation for major enhancements scheduled for production release.

• Assume a pivotal role in leading and implementing configuration management and release transformation to support a growing customer enterprise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of management experience.

• More than 6 years of experience with release and configuration management in IT projects.

• At least 5 years of experience supporting federal clients on IT/software projects, preferably utilizing Agile/SAFe methodologies.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in leading multiple teams.

• At least 1 year of experience with low-code, no-code platforms such as Salesforce, Appian, and ServiceNow.

• US Citizenship is mandatory (as required by the federal government for this position).

• Must be able to secure Public Trust clearance.
