This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.
• Accountable for gathering data to ensure project completion.
• Identifying boundaries, pins, improvements, utilities, etc., while engaging in various project types, such as ALTA, boundary, construction staking, and topographic surveys.
• Verify and process raw field data, execute calculations, and download/file survey data.
• Conduct project research as necessary.
• Adhere to guidelines and directives from project managers.
• Maintain daily communication with your Field Project Manager to confirm progress in completing your field schedule and notify them if you are behind or ahead of schedule.
• Physical work environment requirements:
• Capability to safely navigate and traverse rugged terrain in remote locations.
• Ability to consistently work outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, wet, and muddy environments, as well as at elevated or precarious places.
• Competence in transporting heavy equipment to various job sites (regularly lifting/moving up to 25 pounds, frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 100 pounds).
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally on a frequent basis.
• Availability to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, adhering to schedules and budgets.
• Maintain survey equipment and address issues that arise in the field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
• Strong grasp of surveying concepts and practices.
• Proficient in operating survey equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and data collectors.
• Part 107 license is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with CAD software, particularly Carlson AutoCAD, is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, emphasizing the delivery of high-quality work within specified timeframes and budgets.
