Surgical Technology Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct engaging live virtual classes via Zoom four times a week.

• Didactic classes typically commence between 1-3:30pm EST, from Monday to Thursday.

• Maintain regular communication with students through email and various communication platforms.

• Offer ongoing assistance, troubleshoot issues, and prepare for upcoming modules as necessary.

• Provide clear and engaging instruction that aligns with Stepful’s standardized curriculum.

• Help students grasp Sterile Processing concepts across CRCST exam domains.

• Evaluate student comprehension through assignments, quizzes, and participation in class activities.

• Deliver prompt feedback and targeted support to students facing academic challenges or lacking confidence.

• Record student progress, attendance, and performance in Stepful systems.

• Collaborate with Stepful’s learning team to ensure alignment with program objectives and student requirements.

• Share insights to enhance the student experience and curriculum implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid Surgical Technologist Certification.

• Over 3 years of experience as a certified Surgical Technologist in a clinical environment.

• Background in teaching, training, tutoring, or instructing students or staff.

• Comfortable conducting live online classes via Zoom.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at using LMS platforms and virtual teaching tools.

• Ability to adhere to a standardized curriculum while tailoring explanations to accommodate various learning styles.

• Dedication to providing inclusive, accessible, and career-oriented healthcare education.

• Availability to work 10 hours per week for each class, from Monday to Thursday.
