This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.
• Represent and market New World Medical’s surgical glaucoma product range to hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, and eye care professionals.
• Sustain and enhance annual sales figures within the designated territory.
• Meet territory-specific and corporate business goals through effective product sales and marketing.
• Offer product and technical guidance regarding the appropriate usage of surgical glaucoma products.
• Develop and implement a strategic plan and routing schedule aimed at high-potential customers.
• Organize and carry out pre-scheduled daily calls.
• Introduce healthcare professionals to New World Medical’s surgical glaucoma offerings.
• Facilitate wet labs for ophthalmic residents and physicians.
• Build and nurture customer relationships, respond to inquiries within twelve hours, follow up on calls, and address customer concerns.
• Engage in conventions, educational events, customer networking, and area/regional meetings.
• Manage time effectively to meet territory objectives.
• Fulfill administrative tasks, including expense reporting and email/voicemail communications.
• Report directly to the U.S. Regional Sales Manager.
• A 4-year degree is strongly preferred.
• Alternatively, 5 or more years of experience in ophthalmic, ophthalmic surgical, or medical device fields, with established customer relationships and a proven performance history.
• If a 4-year degree is obtained and verifiable, a minimum of 3 years of outside B2B sales experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is required.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM is preferred.
• Experience with vendor credentialing in the medical sector.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and the capacity to maintain accurate records and receipts.
• A creative self-starter capable of completing tasks independently.
• Mechanically inclined and able to demonstrate products in real-world scenarios.
• Proficient presentation skills, including addressing groups of up to 30 individuals.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% within the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and passport with no significant driving infractions.
• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
