Surgical Profee Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accurately code surgical professional-fee records for procedures conducted in both inpatient and outpatient environments.

• Utilize expertise in CPT coding for the professional billing of surgical cases.

• Code records across a diverse range of medical specialties.

• Achieve client productivity goals while ensuring a coding quality of 95% or higher.

• Operate independently within a dedicated regular schedule.

• Leverage remote connectivity, multi-factor authentication, video conferencing, Outlook, calendars, and Excel tools.

• Foster a stable, adaptable, and professional work environment that emphasizes coding expertise and quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification from AHIMA or AAPC (CPC, CIC, COC).

• At least two years of experience coding surgical professional fee records.

• Proficient in coding across various multi-specialties.

• Technical proficiency with remote connectivity solutions, including virtual private networks, multi-factor authentication via smartphone, and video conferencing tools.

• Skilled in using office software such as Outlook, calendar applications, and Excel spreadsheets.

• Commitment to a regular schedule with dependable and punctual attendance.

• Capability to meet client productivity objectives while maintaining coding quality of 95% or greater.

• Expertise in CPT coding for professional billing of surgical cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

• Ability to work autonomously, maintain attention to detail and quality, and adapt effectively to change.
