This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Identify and establish new accounts within the surgical glaucoma sector.
• Conduct and/or assist with local training related to glaucoma drainage surgery.
• Initiate and cultivate sustainable relationships with key opinion leaders throughout your territory.
• Collaborate closely with the Santen Pricing & Market-Access Team to maximize the potential of the MicroShunt in your area and across the eastern region.
• Develop innovative and effective acquisition plans at the account level to ensure sustainable business growth.
• Meet sales targets and formulate operational plans for optimal return on investment.
• Achieve and demonstrate effective utilization of established KPIs and objectives.
• Recognize sales-related trends.
• Identify lucrative business opportunities and align available resources accordingly.
• Maintain and enhance existing relationships while managing business with current key customers.
• Provide precise feedback regarding competitor activities in the field.
• Collaborate with Santen sales management, marketing, and customer service to ensure outstanding service for our customers.
• Oversee the financial budget for the territory.
• Offer technical expertise concerning questions, issues, or requirements related to product portfolio responsibilities.
• Effectively utilize company reporting tools to ensure current customer and territory information, sharing valuable insights across the organization.
• Ensure adherence to company standards and the Code of Practice.
• Follow Good Distribution Practice guidelines and act accordingly (mandatory for all employees).
• Over 5 years of experience in medical device sales (preferably in ophthalmology and/or hospital sales).
• Proficient in English.
• Proficiency in any East European language is a plus.
• A degree in a health or business-related field is advantageous.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics and health system policies.
• Leverages market and clinical knowledge to identify opportunities for business growth.
• Action-oriented and results-driven, with emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proven history of top sales performance, commercially savvy, and motivated by sales results.
