This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Implement the launch of Ciliatech’s Intercil Uveal Spacer with ophthalmologists in the field.
• Provide training to glaucoma surgeons and Key Opinion Leaders to a high standard in new accounts that are commercially inactive.
• Maximize sales and adoption of Intercil.
• Identify high-potential surgeons, accounts, and geographical areas within the sales territory.
• Create business plans aimed at achieving and exceeding established sales targets.
• Track progress against sales execution plans and revise business plans as necessary.
• Negotiate with key hospital accounts to secure favorable terms for Ciliatech products.
• Identify, schedule, arrange, and participate in key customer events, congresses, and meetings.
• Monitor promotional expenditures against annual budgets.
• Implement optimal customer follow-up schedules to maintain relationships, share best practices, and enhance sales within accounts.
• Engage in KOL development activities as directed by senior leadership.
• Attain mastery of Ciliatech products, encompassing concepts, clinical data, surgical techniques, indications, and conditions.
• Gain expertise on competitors and alternative treatment options.
• Provide training to surgeons and operating-room staff on safe and effective implantation procedures.
• Attend national and international congresses as required.
• Stay informed about MIGS industry trends and publications to maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors and disease areas.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in surgical sales within the operating room.
• Experience in the field of Ophthalmology.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• High emotional intelligence paired with excellent communication skills.
• Natural ability to build relationships with a customer-first approach.
• Strong personal drive, results-oriented, and focused on goals.
• Confident, fair, and adaptable in fast-paced settings.
• Positive, energetic team player with a hands-on approach.
• Well-organized and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to flexible schedules.
• Experience in the glaucoma sub-specialty is preferred.
• Experience in MIGS is preferred.
• Residing in South UK.
• Reliable vehicle suitable for frequent business travel.
• A full clean driving license is required.
• Availability for extensive national travel, short-notice travel, and multiple nights away from home.
• Capability to pass validations/exams and obtain official certification as a surgical trainer.
• Car allowance.
