This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Act as a representative for Alcon in Surgical Accounts and oversee execution.
• Accountable for driving sales growth by cultivating robust customer relationships.
• Actively seek out new growth opportunities.
• Propel overall Alcon sales performance within the designated territory.
• Establish strong connections with key stakeholders.
• Deliver comprehensive customer support for Cataract clients.
• Analyze the decision-making process and identify key stakeholders to inform and execute the business plan.
• Prepare and negotiate quotes with clients.
• Initiate and lead local events tailored to meet customer needs.
• Monitor and report on competitor activities.
• 2-3 years of experience in medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals within a surgical context.
• Extensive understanding of Cataract procedures, equipment, consumables, and IOL offerings.
• Familiarity with Cataract consumables, equipment, diagnostics, and visualization is advantageous.
• General knowledge of surgical techniques, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and optics.
• Experience with CRM platforms (such as Salesforce) to manage relationships and facilitate account and call planning is preferred.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, both technical and interpersonal.
• Demonstrated flexibility, motivation, self-assurance, and a goal-oriented mindset with a strong sense of drive.
• Capacity to provide comprehensive solutions to customers and non-clinical stakeholders, taking into account their needs and budgets.
