This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Operate within a hospital radiology setting to assess and resolve imaging equipment issues while implementing necessary repairs.
• Conduct Preventative Maintenance on specified equipment.
• Execute safety and environmental assessments to ensure adherence to Health and Human Services and Environmental Health and Safety regulations.
• Complete required service and repair documentation according to hospital protocols and GEHC policies and procedures.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure issue resolution and appropriate follow-up, fostering customer satisfaction.
• Acquire knowledge on the proper handling of tools and testing equipment, ensuring their calibration.
• Improve and sustain technical expertise regarding current standards, codes, and procedures related to the safe and effective use of medical equipment.
• AS, BS, or MS degree; military education; certificate program; current student nearing completion (within 12 months); OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 months of experience in servicing electronic, IT, or mechanical equipment.
• Prior experience and/or coursework that demonstrates the ability to interpret schematic diagrams and perform troubleshooting and planned maintenance on basic diagnostic imaging or electronic equipment.
• Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is mandatory.
