Bot Field Service Maintenance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Ensure daily adherence to safety protocols in line with OSHA standards, Symbot requirements, and customer procedures.

• Conduct inspections and enhancements on systems related to the Automated Storage and Retrieval System and the Symbot Autonomous vehicle fleet.

• Support ongoing operations by adjusting, calibrating, repairing, replacing, or modifying components of the fleet system.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of equipment, programs, and tools connected to the Symbot fleet and its maintenance.

• Execute advanced troubleshooting on the robotic vehicle fleet, recognizing anomalies and stoppages utilizing schematic and wiring diagrams, in addition to advanced testing equipment.

• Inspect and assess robotic fleet vehicles delivered to various sites.

• Ensure quality maintenance and thorough documentation through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

⛳️ Requirements

• An associate degree or equivalent experience/certification in electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical automation systems is required.

• Capability to provide training and system expertise to team members both on-site and off-site.

• Proficient in executing all inspection functions.

• High-level robotic troubleshooting skills (programming experience is an advantage) combined with strong electro-mechanical abilities.

• Skilled in interpreting various schematics and wiring diagrams.

• Confident in conducting electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

• Ability to work independently of a supervisor while adhering to procedures and manuals.

• Capacity to represent the Field Service Team in a remote site support role without direct supervision.

• Proficient in leading a team and delegating daily tasks, as well as working beyond the standard scope as operational needs arise.

• Ability to multitask and manage several job functions simultaneously.

• Proficient in both written and verbal English communication.
