This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform service tasks in accordance with work instructions, while adhering to ABB's quality and safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by planning and executing service tasks as per client orders and expectations.
• Communicate timelines and expectations for service work to promote customer retention.
• Recognize opportunities to enhance the customer's operations and resolve issues during field service activities.
• Carry out preventative maintenance, diagnose technical problems, and conduct analysis through remote or on-site interventions.
• Compile lists of materials required for service activities and ensure the availability and quality of all necessary materials, parts, and equipment.
• Serve as a trainer for field service associates and customers when necessary.
• Associate's degree with over 5 years of experience in field service or preventative maintenance, or a high school diploma with more than 7 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with DCS/QCS systems is essential.
• Experience with PLC and networking is required.
• Mechanically inclined with some experience in electrical work and use of basic tools.
• Must be available for on-call duties 24/7 as needed.
