Surety Account Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Comply with Brown & Brown's standards and procedures, ensuring thorough documentation, timely responses, adherence to processing timelines, and maintaining a high level of professionalism.

• Act as the main point of contact, swiftly addressing inquiries from customers and carriers through email and phone, while offering expert advice and solutions.

• Take full ownership of a dedicated portfolio, managing client relationships, bond cycles, and comprehensive submissions to underwriters independently.

• Efficiently process all requests related to bonds, endorsements, audits, and accounting/billing, while coordinating claims and loss control services.

• Collect and organize customer information to prepare new bond submissions for existing accounts with surety companies.

• Respond promptly to inquiries from customers and carriers via email and phone.

• Oversee bond renewals and generate invoices accordingly.

• Maintain and update surety files to ensure compliance with ongoing underwriting requirements.

• Review bonds to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Execute bonds under Power of Attorney and submit final bond documentation to surety companies.

• Perform other assigned responsibilities and special projects as needed.

• Exhibit a proactive approach in managing tasks and resolving any issues that arise.

• Engage in training and development activities to keep skills and licensing up to date.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) or an equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the Surety field.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of surety, along with current legislation, rules, laws, and relevant regulations.

• Familiarity with contracts and their specific provisions.

• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Word, and Excel.

• Experience with AMS360, Erlon, or ImageRight, or the ability to quickly learn new software programs.
