Support Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deploy, configure, and provide support for CareDx software platforms related to transplant, medication, and patient management.

• Diagnose issues with operating systems, SQL and Oracle databases, as well as application interfaces.

• Maintain and support HL7 interfaces, including custom filtering and monitoring performance.

• Assist in setting up remote connectivity and configuring VPNs for customer locations.

• Ensure adherence to SLAs while managing ticket queues and project timelines.

• Advise clients on software and hardware prerequisites prior to deployment.

• Offer continuous customer support and follow-up services.

• Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting methodologies.

• Implement plans and independently resolve technical challenges.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies to refine deployment and support processes.

• Provide timely technical assistance, smooth deployments, accurate documentation, and ongoing technical enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• Over 2 years of experience in system engineering, implementation, and automation.

• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and managing Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.

• Familiarity with SAP Crystal Reports and troubleshooting software interfaces.

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Active Directory and VPN protocols (Cisco, Nortel, RDP, etc.).

• Availability for on-call duty one week each month.

• Preferred: Experience in biomedical systems engineering.

• Preferred: Knowledge of IIS Web Services and website management.

• Preferred: Proficiency in Python, C++, or JavaScript.

• Preferred: Background in data conversions and network administration.
