Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Deliver remote diagnosis and triage for systems deployed in the field

• Keep precise records of customer and engineer interactions through the ticketing system

• Offer remote support to explore and resolve customer issues

• Assist engineers with the installation, upgrading, or servicing of customer systems

• Adhere to the established support ticket management process and achieve targets

• Conduct testing of software releases

• Implement fix releases on customer systems

• Relay information back internally to other departments

• Participate in internal and external meetings as necessary

• Recognize customer training needs

• Perform offline testing on customer data as needed

• Contribute to the achievement of team goals and objectives

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in the electronic security service sector

• Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and Excel

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently

• Effective interaction between departments

• Ability to influence others effectively

• Comprehensive knowledge of networking and IP connectivity

• Familiarity with Intruder, Fire, CCTV, T&A, and Access Control systems

• Capability to follow detailed instructions

• Good understanding of business operations

• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities

• Skills in relationship building and networking

• Experience in the electronic security industry

• Ability to collaborate within a team and exemplify leadership

• Proven influencing skills
