Supply Chain Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee demand forecasting models leveraging historical sales data and market trends.

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to avert stockouts and overstocking issues.

• Process orders and facilitate transfers throughout the supply chain, from manufacturers to warehouses and fulfillment centers.

• Manage inventory across diverse channels, including Amazon FBA, Vendor Central, and direct fulfillment platforms.

• Actively identify and mitigate potential inventory shortages or surpluses.

• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure demand alignment during promotions and product launches.

• Keep abreast of Amazon’s changing fee structures and cost policies.

• Reduce FBA storage fees and minimize long-term holding costs.

• Maximize reimbursements for incorrect charges and fees.

• Create automated cost-tracking systems for thousands of SKUs.

• Utilize advanced data tools (Excel, Power Query, Flieber, etc.) for demand forecasting.

• Design and refine forecasting models to achieve high accuracy levels.

• Develop scenario plans for new product launches based on analogous SKU performance.

• Implement data-driven tools for decision-making in purchase orders and stock management.

• Supervise inbound shipments and manage relationships with freight carriers and 3PL providers.

• Formulate strategies for cost-efficient logistics and timely deliveries.

• Monitor and track manufacturing, import, freight, and storage costs throughout the supply chain.

• Ensure seamless coordination between manufacturing partners and fulfillment centers.

• Create and standardize tools and templates to enhance demand planning processes.

• Identify opportunities for automation to decrease manual inputs in demand planning systems.

• Track critical performance metrics such as fill rates, inventory turns, and profit margins.

• Ensure consistent reporting and visibility into demand planning performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in Amazon demand planning and inventory optimization.

• At least 3 years of advanced Excel proficiency (including Pivot Tables, in-cell formulas, Power Query, and AI forecasting models).

• A data-driven mindset complemented by a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Capability to distill complex data into actionable insights.

• Experience in supply chain or demand planning within a CPG, consumer products, or similarly fast-paced business with product launches, seasonality, short product life cycles, or inventory obsolescence risks.

• Nice-to-Have: Experience in e-commerce, specifically within the mobile tech accessories sector.

• Knowledge of freight logistics, 3PL management, and overseas manufacturing.

• Familiarity with inventory/sales forecasting platforms (such as Flieber, Inventory Planner, etc.).

• Understanding of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
