Supply Chain Procurement Specialist

📋 Description

• Identify and acquire various commodities, including hardware components, COTS items, and machined components to support production initiatives.

• Demonstrate expertise in the procurement process.

• Initiate Requests for Quotations and Proposals.

• Assess and monitor supplier quality and reliability.

• Collaborate with internal customers to ensure specifications meet the necessary requirements for products or services.

• Discover opportunities to lower costs, enhance efficiency, and manage risks through focused negotiations.

• Oversee the performance of purchase orders and ensure adherence to public law regulations.

• Review and authorize supplier payments as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience.

• Alternatively, a Master’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in a procurement or buyer role.

• Familiarity with CostPoint or a comparable ERP system.

• Proficient in the MS Office suite.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

• Must be a US Citizen.
