• Accountable for delivering logistics expertise and assistance to a program focused on the development and design of network infrastructure and data transport in an OCONUS setting.
• Tasked with planning, controlling, and optimizing both hardware and software resources, as well as managing the tracking and oversight of all equipment.
• Collaborate with the configuration management team to ensure that baselines are consistently upheld.
• Responsible for the creation, optimization, and implementation of logistical support structures for government contracts.
• Manage government property within a DCMA-approved property management framework.
• Conduct inventory audits at both CONUS and OCONUS locations as necessary.
• Oversee logistics and transportation planning and execution for international shipments of goods, requiring a thorough understanding of international export control regulations.
• Serve as the primary liaison with manufacturing and warehouse facilities for the storage, accountability, and dispatch of equipment to various destinations.
• Lead the development and implementation of our Lifecycle Sustainment Plan for multiple systems under development and maintenance until they transition to operational status.
• Produce documentation and training materials.
• A bachelor’s degree in logistics management or any bachelor’s degree in arts or sciences, accompanied by 8 or more years of relevant experience.
• An active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Experience in implementing and managing systems to enhance the flow of resources throughout the supply chain.
• Proficient in property management and inventory oversight.
• A solid understanding of international export and transportation regulations.
• Proven experience in supply chain digital modernization or system implementation.
• Background in initiating and overseeing procurement activities for government contracts within a DCMA-approved purchasing system.
• Familiarity with facilitating and coordinating international equipment shipments in support of the United States Government, including CCI and ITAR-controlled items.
• Demonstrated capability in managing complex, global, high-visibility logistical support operations for United States Government activities.
• Knowledge of shipping methods across both land and sea.
• Experience providing logistics support for personnel in remote, unmanned locations.
• Knowledge in maintaining records for end-of-service, end-of-warranty, and end-of-maintenance processes.
• Expertise in the storage, handling, and distribution of equipment within warehouse settings.
• Experience in controlling the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials to support production and operations at both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Background in contracting for shipments and deliveries to remote areas.
