Supply Chain & Operations Specialist – DTC eCommerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of comprehensive inventory planning across Shopify, Amazon FBA, and international fulfillment channels.

• Ensure optimal inventory levels by reducing stockouts and excess inventory.

• Coordinate the movement of inventory among various warehouses and fulfillment partners.

• Develop and uphold SKU-level demand forecasts by analyzing sales velocity, seasonality, promotions, and historical trends.

• Strategize inventory needs for product launches and peak seasons, particularly during Q4.

• Continuously enhance forecasting models by utilizing business data.

• Oversee and improve AI-driven inventory planning systems.

• Establish and maintain reorder point logic, dashboards, automations, and operational alerts.

• Identify repetitive operational tasks that lend themselves to automation.

• Plan and execute purchase orders in accordance with demand forecasts and manufacturing lead times.

• Monitor shipments from the purchase order stage through manufacturing, freight, customs clearance, and warehouse receipt.

• Manage daily communications with our third-party logistics partner.

• Oversee replenishment from the 3PL to Amazon FBA.

• Conduct daily reconciliations between customer orders, shipments, and inventory movements.

• Track refund rates in relation to actual product returns.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing supply chain or inventory operations for an eCommerce business.

• Background in building AI automations or utilizing AI tools to enhance operations.

• Familiarity with Amazon FBA inventory management and international fulfillment processes.

• Knowledge of inventory planning software and ERP systems.

• Strong skills in forecasting and inventory planning.

• Experience collaborating with manufacturers, freight providers, and/or 3PLs.

• Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
