Supply Chain Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Akamai Legal and Compliance to ensure that supply chain and logistics operations meet legal and regulatory standards.

• Develop and enhance processes, procedures, and controls for import and export compliance.

• Identify export authorization requirements and prepare necessary licenses, exceptions, supporting documentation, and compliance records.

• Maintain precise HTS, Schedule B, and ECCN product classifications along with auditable classification records.

• Conduct compliance audits and establish import/export controls.

• Deliver training on export compliance and create KPIs to evaluate trade compliance performance.

• Supervise daily operations and performance of supply chain providers.

• Assist senior analysts and Project Managers with selected projects.

• Develop a technical understanding of deployed network products and identify opportunities for automation and standardization.

• Collaborate with manufacturers, logistics providers, carriers, repair vendors, customs authorities, and legal teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in international trade compliance, particularly with U.S. import and export regulations.

• Knowledge of HTS and ECCN classification, export controls, licensing requirements, and customs documentation.

• Ability to work collaboratively with Logistics, Planning, Design, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, customs brokers, and logistics providers.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.

• Experience in maintaining accurate compliance data in ERP, classification, or document management systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical correspondence with agencies.

• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to negotiate and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Technical understanding of products utilized within Akamai's deployed network.
