This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +6 more states.
• Oversee the movement of materials throughout the supply chain.
• Design forecasting, order replenishment, and logistics channel decision-making processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Develop metrics and monthly supplier performance scorecards and updates.
• Evaluate supply chain best practices and perform daily business analyses.
• Collaborate with management, stakeholders, leadership, merchants, vendors, and suppliers to enhance supply chain performance and collaboration.
• Assist with central replenishment efforts and work together on inventory forecasting and replenishment strategies.
• Generate, assess, and audit supply chain metrics and data.
• Strategize for promotions, pricing adjustments, and exit plans.
• Create decision support tools and financial models to examine inventory cost/benefit trade-offs.
• Analyze multi-tier distribution channels for cost versus service level trade-offs.
• Develop forecasting tools for joint planning with merchandising suppliers.
• Address missing or erroneous information and resolve inconsistencies in complex research and data.
• Offer guidance or training to junior-level support or professional staff.
• Residency in Georgia, Texas, New Jersey, California, Florida, Illinois, New York, or Pennsylvania is required.
• This role necessitates over 75% travel.
• Previous experience with warehouse design/build, network optimization, or distribution center transformation projects is essential.
• Proficient in SQL at an intermediate to advanced level, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, and window functions.
• Familiarity with slotting optimization, inventory control, and replenishment planning is required.
• Practical experience with WMS platforms, ideally SAP WM or SAP EWM.
• Competence in Power BI and/or Tableau is necessary.
• Strong data analytics skills and data-driven problem-solving abilities.
• Experience utilizing AutoCAD for warehouse layout, facility design, or operational planning is important.
• Ability to convert complex operational data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% as project demands require.
• A BS/BA in a related field, or an MS/MA with the relevant experience is mandatory.
• Typically, 2-5 years of experience in a related area is expected with a BS/BA, or 2-4 years with an MS/MA.
• Certification is mandatory in certain areas.
