Supplier Quality Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Operate autonomously from a remote location and travel to supplier sites to verify adherence to quality standards.

• Perform supplier audits and evaluations to pinpoint areas of non-compliance and document RCCA items.

• Collaborate with suppliers to track and assist in the execution of RCCA improvement plans aligned with the RAIL agenda.

• Create recovery plans for suppliers aimed at enhancing Supplier Quality scores and minimizing Supplier Quality Corrective actions.

• Establish and execute quality control processes and procedures to guarantee compliance with industry standards and client expectations.

• Carry out inspections and tests on products, components, and materials to detect defects or deviations from established specifications.

• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement necessary corrective measures.

• Analyze data and produce reports to monitor quality performance and highlight areas for enhancement.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in conducting assessments and audits within the aerospace, automotive, and/or related sectors.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

• Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards and regulations.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Detail-oriented with a keen emphasis on accuracy and precision.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

• US Citizenship is mandatory.

• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

• 90% travel commitment expected.
