QA Tester, Data Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Design and implement test cases, scripts, and scenarios for the data integration platform in both QA and Production environments.

• Conduct integration testing across various source systems, including SAP and CRM.

• Ensure accurate data flow between source systems and the consolidated platform.

• Execute data validation, reconciliation, and data-quality assessments.

• Identify, replicate, and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with development teams.

• Review technical specifications and data-mapping documentation.

• Generate testing reports, data logs, defect tracking, and associated documentation.

• Update the QA Lead and project stakeholders on test progress, results, and any issues encountered.

• Analyze test outcomes, document defects, and confirm fixes.

• Report directly to the Manager of IT Quality Assurance and collaborate closely with the QA Lead.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is necessary.

• 2–5 years of experience in software quality assurance is required.

• A proven history of executing various testing types, identifying defects, and ensuring product quality.

• Experience in integration testing and/or testing data across enterprise systems like SAP and CRM is essential.

• Practical experience with data validation and reconciliation processes.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms, particularly AWS, is advantageous.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, test management, and data validation tools is beneficial.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Capability to convey technical ideas in both technical and layman’s terms.

• A sharp attention to detail and the ability to rapidly learn new products.

• Competence in prioritizing and executing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
