This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Manage purchase orders while coordinating with international locations to ensure efficient goods movement and uphold high customer satisfaction.

• Build and maintain relationships with UPS offices globally, update standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensure adherence to operational standards.

• Propel business expansion by conducting strategic meetings with clients, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), and applying data-driven strategies to improve supply chain operations.

• Supervise document management and corrective action initiatives, ensuring compliance at the origin.

• Provide clients with analytical reports to support evaluations of shipping activities, monitor shipment statuses, and ensure vendor adherence.

• Serve as a customer advocate to address pricing, service, and relationship concerns, aiming to reduce churn.

• Ensure a smooth customer experience from the first point of contact through to the complete integration of new Supplier Management clients.

• This role may necessitate travel based on business requirements.


⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in supply chain management and/or ocean freight and customer relations.

• Strong analytical abilities and strategic thinking skills.

• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to build strong relationships.

• Ability to manage various tasks and effectively prioritize responsibilities.

• A Bachelor's Degree (or its international equivalent) or current employment at UPS with a minimum of three years of experience.

• Required experience in ocean freight.

• Required intermediate skills in Excel.

• Proven experience in delivering customer service in direct customer-facing roles is essential.
