Supplier Development Engineer – Casting and Forging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and direct advanced manufacturing operations to promote operational excellence, process enhancement, and innovation within manufacturing procedures.

• Formulate and execute advanced manufacturing strategies.

• Lead interdisciplinary teams and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

• Boost productivity, enhance product quality, and achieve cost efficiencies across the external casting and forging supply chain.

• Report directly to the Director of Supplier Development Engineering.

• Recruit talent, identify and cultivate successors, enhance retention and engagement, and promote an inclusive workplace culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical field such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

• Significant experience in advanced manufacturing engineering and process optimization, including over 3 years in casting manufacturing.

• In-depth knowledge of advanced manufacturing technologies, including automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing.

• Proven history of driving operational excellence and implementing process improvements.

• Exceptional leadership and personnel management abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

• Must possess experience with Investment casting, Sand casting, Single crystal, Directionally solidified, Equifax, Ceramic core, Permanent mold, and Inconel.

• Must have extensive knowledge of investment casting and the related manufacturing processes.
