Supervisor, Revenue Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Supervise the billing, collections, and cash posting activities within the revenue cycle.

• Offer daily guidance and support to ensure the team meets OCHIN key performance indicators for financial well-being.

• Formulate strategic plans to promote operational efficiency.

• Optimize collection capabilities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Build and sustain relationships with client representatives to address and resolve issues.

• Accountable for the coordinated management of multiple related projects aimed at achieving organizational goals.

• Lead a team of billers to deliver exceptional revenue cycle management for OBS clients.

• Oversee daily operations to ensure timely and accurate professional billing.

• Guarantee compliance with federal, state, and payer regulations and deadlines.

• Recruit, develop, inspire, and mentor a team committed to providing outstanding customer service.

• Conduct performance quality evaluations of staff based on established metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare or healthcare IT.

• A minimum of three (3) years of remote supervisory or managerial experience is required.

• High school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's or Associate degree in business or a related field is highly preferred.

• Previous experience with FQHC/RHC is preferred.

• Coding experience or CPC - Certified Professional Coder certification is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Experience utilizing payor portals is required.

• Proficiency with Acute Care EHR software, specifically EPIC, is necessary, PB.

• Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and/or HCPCS Coding Systems, as well as claim forms like CMS-1500 and UB-04.

• Strong research and root cause analysis skills, along with excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficient in MS Suite & Visio, with advanced expertise in Excel.

• Knowledge of Medicare Billing Systems (DDE, Ability Ease) is preferred.

• Exceptional communication skills, encompassing written, verbal, and listening, along with proven business writing abilities, are essential.
