This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
• Supervise and provide daily direction to two team members in the Accounts Payable department within the shared services organization.
• Take ownership of the complete Accounts Payable process, guaranteeing efficient, accurate, and timely handling of vendor invoices and payments.
• Monitor daily transactions to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Oversee the processing of supplier invoices in Concur, managing workflow and securing business approvals.
• Ensure proper coding of invoices to support accurate financial reporting, cost analysis, and tracking of departmental budgets.
• Manage weekly vendor payments via BACS and international wire transfers.
• Collaborate with business teams to facilitate the creation of purchase orders and support procurement activities.
• Assist with daily and weekly cash management tasks, including monitoring Group bank accounts.
• Ensure accurate recording of all vendor payments and customer receipts in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Prepare and reconcile Group bank accounts for both UK and U.S. entities.
• Prepare and reconcile Accounts Payable balances for the UK and U.S., including the monitoring and resolution of aged items.
• Oversee employee Travel & Expense (T&E) processing within Concur and generate ad hoc reports as necessary.
• Support quarterly reviews, interim testing, and annual audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Ensure the creation of new vendor and employee records adheres to established internal controls.
• Partner with Concur and Microsoft Dynamics 365 consultants to troubleshoot issues, implement system enhancements, and improve Accounts Payable and related transaction processes.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen controls, and boost the efficiency of the Accounts Payable function.
• At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within an Accounts Payable team.
• Strong grasp of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel along with strong overall computer proficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of collaborating effectively across all organizational levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
• Team-oriented mindset, willing to support colleagues as needed.
• High emotional intelligence (EQ), quickly establishing trust and managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
